Notes about the list:
Column 1 - Issuing Territory. These are listed alphabetically, broadly as designated on the stamps, except that the word “Saint” is written in full and British Forces in Egypt is listed as “Egypt”. United Kingdom is under “Great Britain”.
Column 2 - Description of Item. Abbreviations used include: “s/r cds”; (single ring circular date stamp) and “b/s”; (back stamp). Where varieties are known to be constant, they are referred to by plate number and position on the sheet. By way of an example, the term Bv1.9/1 would refer to Bradbury’s vignette plate no. 1 with the stamp found on the 9th. row, first stamp in from the left, (in this case, the “Extra Flagstaff” variety).
Column 3 - Item Reference Number. Please use this number in any correspondence about a particular item. Where the number is underlined, clicking on it reveals a scan of the item.
Column 4 - Price. This is given in pounds sterling. For shipping, please add £1 per consignment, (within the U.K.), or £4, (outside the U.K.). If remittances are to be made in a currency other than sterling, please contact us by e-mail. A Paypal account is available.
